Champagne crown through a swim summer

I bought the champagne version in March and have worn it in the pool at least three times a week ever since. The zirconia is still perfectly clear with no cloudy film in any of the settings, which is exactly where chlorine wrecked my last hoops. The sunburst spikes have not dulled and the clicker still closes cleanly. It also came on a coastal weekend with a lot of salt water and nothing changed. I do not use any special cleaner, they just come in the shower with me. Four months and they look like the day they arrived.

Clicker hoops my ears can handle

I have a nickel allergy that makes most hoops impossible, usually swelling and weeping by the second day. These went in in April and I have worn them almost continuously since. No itching, no soreness, no discharge at all. The clicker post is smooth so there is no dragging when it goes through, which used to aggravate my piercings badly. I have even slept in them a few nights with no morning tenderness. Getting to wear a proper statement hoop again after years of plain studs is a big deal.

Coffee stones and gold still rich

I went with the coffee zirconia and I was worried the warm stone tone would fade against the gold over time. Five months in and both are exactly as they were. Daily showers, perfume, hairspray and plenty of sweat have not caused any dulling or darkening. The inside of the hoop, where it sits against my ear, is still bright rather than that grey shadow you normally get. Even the hinge area has kept its color. Nothing about this pair reads as plated anymore.

coffee reads darker in daylight

On my screen the stones looked closer to a warm amber and outdoors they're a deeper brown. I've grown to prefer it, but it was a small surprise opening the package. Champagne is the safer bet if you want light.
