Sunburst Charm Huggies

Nickel gives me weeping, itchy lobes within hours and most sparkly earrings are a hard no for me. I have worn these continuously since April with no reaction whatsoever. They sit flush against the lobe so I sleep in them every night and wake up with nothing sore. Even after workouts, when sweat sits in the hoop, there is no burning or redness. I finally have a sparkly everyday earring instead of the same plain titanium studs. My piercings have never looked better.

These have been in my ears through eight weeks of lap swimming and two beach trips. Chlorine is what usually clouds up pave stones for me and every single one on the hoop is still clear and sparkling. The sunburst charm dangles right in the water and has not dulled or spotted anywhere. I do not rinse them with anything special, they just go through the shower with me afterward. Nothing has loosened in the setting either, which I check obsessively. For the first time I am not rotating a backup pair for pool days.

I bought two so I could wear one in each of my second holes and both have held up identically over four months. The gold between the stones is still bright, not the greyish cast my other huggies got by week three. I wear them through everything, including sweaty commutes and a lot of hairspray. No darkening around the hinge, which is normally the first place to go. The sunburst charm has kept its color exactly like the hoop. Nothing about them looks like a plated piece at this point.

On screen it looked like a cooler yellow and in person it's a richer, deeper gold. I actually prefer it, but it did surprise me out of the envelope. Worth knowing if you're matching to other pieces.

I forget to take jewelry off before the sauna and these have survived months of it. No heat damage to the plating and no clouding on the pave. Very sturdy little hoops.

The drop is short enough that it moves prettily but never taps my neck or jaw. No noise, no distraction. I can wear them on the treadmill and forget about them.
