Luna Ring

I took this on a ten-day trip that involved a lot of ocean and a lot of sunscreen, and I did not take it off once. Salt water every morning, hot outdoor showers after, and sand getting into everything. The wave detail came home looking untouched. No cloudy film, no water marks, no spots along the band. Honestly it looks better than my silver ring that stayed home in a box. Water genuinely does not bother this thing.

I have a genuine nickel allergy and thin bands are the worst offenders for me because they sit tight against the skin all day. I ordered this one with very low expectations and it has been on my hand nonstop since the end of February. Not a single flare-up, no itching, no red band underneath even after a full day of sweating in summer heat. I sleep in it and shower in it and my skin stays completely calm. Finding a delicate ring I can actually wear every day has been a small miracle.

At 3.5mm I assumed this would be the first thing to wear through, because thin plated bands always go first on me. I have worn it every day since early March, including through the shower every morning, dish duty every night, and two beach weekends. There is no fading on the underside where it presses against my finger, which is where my other rings always give up first. The wave pattern is still fully defined. It looks like a ring I would have paid four times as much for.

The finish is genuinely beautiful and it catches light exactly as shown. Six is a shade loose and seven a shade tight on me — a six and a half would have been perfect.

Beautiful shape and the gold tone is warm and even. My usual seven sits slightly looser than I expected on this particular band. I still wear it, just on a different finger.

I am on a hospital floor and my hands are under a tap constantly. This ring has been through months of soap and sanitizer and still looks new.
