Bonheur Bracelet

This green clover bracelet has been on my wrist nearly every day since late February, so we're pushing five months now. The gold links are still bright with no darkening between them, which is where my old bracelets always went black first. The green petals are as glossy as new, no dulling, no chips at the edges. I wear it typing all day, cooking, and chasing a golden retriever, so it isn't living a gentle life. My last flower bracelet from another site looked ancient after six weeks. This one hasn't needed so much as a wipe with a cloth. Buying the blue one next.

I bought the red one before our annual trip to Palm Springs and decided not to baby it. It went in the pool every single day for a week, plus the hot tub, plus about a gallon of sunscreen. The red clover petals still have that glossy shell-like finish and the gold chain shows no spots or fading anywhere, even at the clasp. I've had charm bracelets lose their shine from one afternoon of swimming, so I kept waiting for the drop-off. It never came. I've showered with it daily since we got home a month ago. It still looks like the product photo.

Bracelets are the worst for my sensitive skin because they slide around and rub all day, and I usually end up with an itchy red band by evening. I got the white one for my birthday and braced for the usual reaction. Nothing happened, not on day one and not in the three months since. No itching, no rash, no gray-green smudge on my wrist even in sweaty June weather. I even wear it during workouts, which used to be an instant flare-up. It's the first bracelet in years I can put on in the morning and completely forget about.

I now own the red, white, blue, and green and rotate them daily. The oldest one is from March and looks identical to the newest. Whatever they coat these with, it works.

I got the green and the shimmer of the petals against the gold chain is beautiful. It reads elegant, not trendy. I've had strangers at church and at the gym ask about it, which is quite the range.

I gave this to my daughter for her college send-off and had to upgrade the packaging myself, since it comes in a simple pouch. The bracelet itself earned every compliment at her party. Gift-givers, budget for an extra box.
