Amour Bracelet

I wore this every day of a two week beach trip and never once slipped it off. It was in salt water most afternoons, then rinsed under the outdoor shower, then straight back on for dinner. The gold hearts still sit bright against the silver links with no water marks or cloudy patches between them. I was most worried about the stretch running through the band getting waterlogged or stiff, and it moves exactly as it did on day one. Since then it has done daily showers and a lot of washing up. It looks precisely as it did when I unwrapped it.

I have quite reactive skin and anything sitting close against my wrist normally leaves an itchy red band within an afternoon, which is why I had given up on stretch styles entirely. This has been on daily since spring and there has been nothing, no itching, no redness, no dark mark underneath when I take it off. It stays put rather than sliding around, so it is in constant contact with the same patch of skin all day and still causes no trouble. I have worn it through hot weather, through the gym, and to bed on plenty of occasions. My skin under it looks the same as the skin around it.

The thing that usually ruins a two tone piece is one side creeping towards the other, with the gold going pale or the silver picking up a warm cast. Four months of near daily wear and both tones on this are exactly as separate as they were in the box. The gold hearts are still rich and warm, the silver links are still crisp and cool, and the edges where they meet are clean with no shadowing. My wrist rubs against a desk all day and there is no worn stripe on the underside either. Nothing has darkened between the links where sweat sits. Genuinely no upkeep at all.

Every gold heart still catches light the way it did in the packaging. No fading, no dark edges, no wear on the raised parts.

Genuinely lovely to look at and the two metals together are gorgeous. On my narrow wrist it does rotate, so I nudge the hearts back to the top now and then.

Easy to wear and never uncomfortable, which is what I wanted. Buying a single size unseen was a slight leap of faith with no size guidance. It worked out for me, but check your wrist first.
