Agnes Earrings

Nickel sends my ears into a mess of red, weepy, itchy misery, so I mostly gave up on anything but tiny titanium studs. My daughter gifted me these for Mother's Day and I nearly didn't try them because of the size. Wore them for four hours as a test and felt absolutely nothing, so I left them in for the rest of the week. Going on two months now with zero itching, zero redness and no tenderness even when I sleep in them. I also have a second piercing that never fully settled and these don't irritate that one either. Whatever the steel is, my skin is fine with it, and that has genuinely never happened with a statement earring. 💛

Ordered these in late January and they have been in my ears almost every day since, which is close to six months of constant wear. All three balls are still perfectly mirrored, no dull haze, no darkening down in the seams where the spheres meet. I used to buy gold plated statement studs from fast fashion sites and every single one either went brassy or left black marks on my lobes within weeks. My coworker literally picked one up off my desk to check if it was real gold. There isn't a single scratch on the top sphere either, which shocked me given how often they knock against my phone. This is the first pair I've owned long enough to actually get bored of, and I'm not bored.

Vacation was a real test for these. Six days in a heavily chlorinated resort pool, one full day in the Atlantic, plus the outdoor shower every evening to get salt off, and I honestly stopped taking them out because there was no point. It rained hard on our last night and I walked back to the room soaked with them still in. Not one sphere lost its shine, and there's no discoloration in the little joints between the balls where I figured water would sit. I checked them under bright light when I unpacked and they look exactly like the photos on the site. Best packing decision I made all summer.

Gave a pair to my sister at Christmas and watched her wear them through everything, showers included, without a mark. That sold me. Mine have been just as bulletproof.

The mirror finish is gorgeous and the sculpted spheres look very high end. They are a genuinely large earring though, larger than I judged from the photos. Once I embraced the scale they became my favorites.

Took me a few minutes to get the backs seated properly the first time I put them in. Once I had the knack it is quick and they feel wonderful all day. Just a slight learning curve up front.
